Nuno Falcão Alpalhão is a Data Scientist and Researcher at NOVA Information Management School (NOVA IMS), Universidade Nova de Lisboa. He is also an Invited Assistant Professor in the master of Data Science and Advanced Analytics at NOVA IMS, teaching Data Visualization, Big Data, Storing and Retrieving Data, Programming for Data Science and Big Data Management and Modelling. 

He has a BSc in Mathematics, an MSc in Data Science and Advanced Analytics, and is currently pursuing his PhD in Information Management at the Universidade Nova de Lisboa. 

He was involved in several research projects, inserted in the Nova Cidade Urban Analytics Lab group, namely Data4Covid, PlanoA Saúde and Urban Co-creation Data Lab. At the moment he is inserted in the project Climate Driven Technologies for Low Carbon Cities (C-TECH).
