The relationship between population happiness and well-being and demographic and contextual factors has been widely studied in recent years, proving to be an essential tool for shaping effective public policies. In this context, the aim of this project was to develop a comprehensive methodology to calculate a Happiness Indicator<\/strong> specific to the Estrela Parish Council<\/em> in Lisbon, integrating both objective data and subjective perceptions collected through a population survey.<\/p>\n A total of 400 residents across 18 areas of the parish were surveyed, allowing for the assessment of happiness levels, identification of key influencing dimensions, and understanding of the role of demographic variables and the gap between objective conditions and individual perceptions. Results showed that health<\/strong> is the main driver of happiness, income satisfaction<\/strong> has a greater impact than absolute income, and employment inactivity<\/strong> negatively affects both happiness and mental health.<\/p>\n These findings, together with the dynamic visualization and simulation tools developed \u2014 namely an interactive dashboard<\/strong> and a variable impact simulator<\/strong> \u2014 provide a solid foundation for more effective local public policies. citizens, through the deployment of digital service infrastructures (DSIs) and broadband networks.<\/p>\n Projects supported by CEF will contribute to the creation of a European ecosystem of interoperable and interconnected digital services that underpin the Digital Single Market.<\/p>\n The main objective of the UCD Lab project is to support decision making within the municipality, in order to provide citizens with high quality services in the areas of security, emergency, operational management and planning.<\/p>\n The Action will implement this support in Lisbon and in two other efici\u00eancia energ\u00e9tica dos edif\u00edcios, cria\u00e7\u00e3o de estruturas verdes e efici\u00eancia energ\u00e9tica da mobilidade urbana, capacitando as autoridades locais para a identifica\u00e7\u00e3o e a abordagem efetiva a quest\u00f5es ambientais espec\u00edficas, no sentido de promover a diminui\u00e7\u00e3o da sua pegada carb\u00f3nica.<\/p> Assim, o projeto C-<\/i>Tech<\/i> resulta do trabalho de investiga\u00e7\u00e3o desenvolvido conjuntamente entre o IST \u2013 Instituto Superior T\u00e9cnico, o MIT \u2013 Massachusetts Institute of Technology e a cidade de Lisboa, do qual resultou o enquadramento tecnol\u00f3gico para a representa\u00e7\u00e3o da cidade, no sentido de complement\u00e1-lo e expandi-lo por forma a disponibilizar ao mercado um conjunto de simuladores altamente fi\u00e1veis que capacitar\u00e3o as autoridades locais na defini\u00e7\u00e3o de novas pol\u00edticas e medidas para fazer face \u00e0s altera\u00e7\u00f5es clim\u00e1ticas e promover a sustentabilidade ambiental.<\/p> A concretiza\u00e7\u00e3o destes objetivos assenta na execu\u00e7\u00e3o de um plano de trabalhos estruturado em 9 atividades complementares, que abrangem todas as etapas do ciclo de desenvolvimento do produto.
