PhD in Information Management – ​​Geoinformatics, Master in Science and Geographic Information Systems and degree in Agricultural Engineering. He is currently a Professor of the Practice at NOVA Information Management School, from Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Integrated Researcher at the Information Management Research Center (MagIC) and Executive Director at Nova Cidade Urban Analytics Lab, where he also develops work in geographic information systems, information management, geospatial artificial intelligence and urban and territorial analytics.​
