João Sousa Rego is Director of The Built Heritage of Parques de Sintra Monte da Lua, responsible for the investment and maintenance of the company for the Palaces and other building spaces.

He was Coordinator of the Urbanism Office – Green and Blue Axis at Parques de Sintra Monte da Lua Company, with the intervention of the 3 territorially competent municipalities Sintra, Oeiras and Amadora.

He was a member of the Offices of the Secretary of State for Spatial Planning and Nature Conservation in the 19th Constitutional Government of the Portuguese Republic.

Architect, I developes his professional career as an urban planner and responsible for projects in the area of urban rehabilitation, including promotion of infrastructure, with a culture of inclusion, oriented to people, adopting a profile of management of sharing and qualification of resources.

In addition, he maintains associative activity in an IPSS, of which I was chairman of the board for six years, and is now chairman of the respective supervisory board.
