With more than 20 years of experience in technology, Manuel Dias began his career at EFACEC in research and development, then joined OutSystems where he led the Product Management Direction.

In 2010 he joined Microsoft as Data and AI Specialist with responsibility for the business market. He currently serves as Director of Enterprise Technical Sales who accumulates with the role of AI Ambassador of Microsoft Portugal.

Since 2015, Manuel is also a Visiting Professor at NOVA IMS in the Master of Data Science and Advanced Analytics among other programs.

In 2018 he was co-founder and is currently Vice-President of the Portuguese Association of Data Science (DSPA). In 2019 he founded the Power BI Portugal community with the aim of democratizing information analysis capabilities.

Manuel holds a degree in Electrical engineering and Computers from the Instituto Superior Técnico and a Master’s degree in Information Systems Management from the Higher Institute of Management and Economics.
